James Macdonald
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
With nearly 15 years’ experience working and living in the South African wilderness, James more than knows the luxury Africa safari tour business - he lived it.

His love for his home coupled with his passion for revealing the transformative power of the African bush inspires the life-changing journeys he creates for every client.
​
Born and raised in the small town of Henley-On-Klip located about 50 miles south of Johannesburg, James has had a love, curiosity, and passion for the bush and South African wildlife since an early age. Pursuing these passions by studying nature conservation to become a certified Field Guide, also known as a “Game Ranger” or “Safari Guide,” James trained in the wildest of reserves in South Africa.

Not only does James have a personal relationship with most of the lodges recommended, but he has worked at many, which makes his itineraries truly special.

Harnessing a spirit of wanderlust since a young age, Sarah has a passion for sharing her love of travel and insights for making the most out of your Africa luxury safari tour.

Born and raised in Southern California, Sarah first found her love of South Africa after meeting her handsome husband, James, on a cruise ship. During her first visit to South Africa, Sarah was immediately overwhelmed by the beauty of the bush, Africa’s big sky, and the county's diverse sights and people.

With each client, Sarah is committed to providing a glimpse of what captivated her when she first visited--the transformative power of Africa that can only be experienced.

With a background in communications and more than 15 years’ experience planning events and coordinating travel, Sarah knows what it takes to help you
tailor-make a safari experience that is rare, exclusive and extraordinary.
